"Ariel Rand" was a short documentary I directed, filmed, and edited for a final class project about the life of a sophomore accounting student. It was one of several student projects that semester at Loyola to be nominated for the 2019 BEA Festival of Media Arts in the Student Documentary category.

"Arrupe College" was a supplemental photo essay I shot and narrated for an article I wrote about the world's first Jesuit community college. It focused on the program's background and one student's experience, talking about what he accomplished after graduation and his advice for future students.

Interviewing Practice
"The Last Photo" was an assignment I worked on with two other students to practice filming and editing interview sequences. We learned how to use industry-standard equipment to produce the project and used Adobe Premiere Pro to put it together.

"Soly and Toby" was a short video profile I directed and edited for an assignment where we were tasked with putting together "matching action" shots as well as filming short feature pieces. I enjoyed being able to cover subjects that I was close to personally.

Deadline News Package
"Finals Week" was a news package I produced on a tight deadline with a partner for one of my journalism classes. Using our iPhones, we had less than two hours to find and interview people around campus, write a script, record a voiceover, and edit.

This was a radio wrap I produced on a two-hour deadline, interviewing nearby people about their reactions to the news that R. Kelly pled not guilty.
